Dekalb Land and Mining Company was a established in Jefferson County, Alabama in 1903. The corporation was formed to purchase or lease land, rights of way for different types of road, and mine for ore and coal in addition to several other tasks and businesses. The corporate headquarters were located in Birmingham, Alabama.
