The collection contains souvenirs and mementoes of University of Alabama football, with some boxing and baseball memorabilia, 1932-1948. It also includes photos of players, many of them signed, and newspaper clippings. The memorabilia includes 1935 Rose Bowl materials and photos.

Biographical / Historical
Carideo, a lifelong fan of Alabama football, was a member of the class of 1936. He was a member of the boxing team, bantam weight. He was subsequently a physical therapist and member of the Screen Actors Guild. His last residence was Hollywood, California.
