Biographical / Historical

Jefferson Carroll Davis, son of Jefferson Addison and Marthe "Mattie" Carroll Davis, was born in Eufaula, Alabama, on September 25, 1914. He married Grace Wilkinson on September 9, 1939; the couple had one daughter, Linda. Davis served in Company "C" of the 164th Engineering Battalion (Combat) during World War II. Davis died on July 20, 1972.
