Scope and Contents
The scrapbook, which covers over fifty years, focuses on the Gant family, particularly on Henry Gant and his sons, Eugene (Gene) and Tim. While photographs make up a major portion of the scrapbook, there are a good number of newspaper clippings and other ephemera included. Many of the people in the photographs and newspaper clippings have been identified, frequently with their connection to Henry Gant.

Biographical / Historical
Henry Gant, son of Myrtle Gant, was born in 1910 or 1911, in Pennsylvania. He married in the early- to mid-1930s; he and his wife Roberta had one son, Gene. Henry served in the U. S. Army during World War II and Gene served in the U. S. Air Force in the mid-1950s.
