Scope and Contents
Alfred Francis Alois was a 1944 graduate of the University of Alabama and the collection contains several 1940's football programs, photographs of his athletic activities, A Club, Army ROTC, and Phi Sigma Kappa, as well as family photographs, correspondence, and newspaper clippings. It also includes his University of Alabama diploma, his fraternity pins, a red and white "Bama" clip-on tie, and a small red and white Bama pennant.

Biographical / Historical
Alfred Francis Alois, son of Salvatore and Concetta Alois, was born on September 29, 1921, in Schenectady, New York. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1944 with a degree in industrial engineering. He married Helen C. Hensley on June 17, 1951; the couple had a daughter, Cathy, and a son, Louis. He died on November 2, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas.
