The Blue Star Salute Foundation seeks to educate and raise local, state, and national awareness of the need to honor and recognize the sacrifices of all US military personnel and their families, with particular attention to Alabama's military service members, whether Active, Reserves, or National Guard, in all branches of the US Armed Forces - Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Gauard, and the historic US Merchant Marines - and all veterans of these service groups.
