Biographical / Historical
Ben Hunt, son of William Blackburn and Eva M. Thompson Hunt, was born on September 16, 1900, in Scottsboro, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama where he was a member of the football team and the Iota Iota chapter of Sigma Chi fraternity. He graduated around 1922 and play pro football for one year with the Toledo Maroons. He died on June 18, 1981, in Scottsboro.
