Scope and Contents

Small rectangular photo album, 11/2" x 71/2", containing photographs of prominent African American family probably from around Washington, District of Columbia area. This album showcases family’s everyday life, travels to Niagara Falls and Atlanta. Album also depicts campus life at Claflin University, Orangeburg, South Carolina and other scenes from the countryside of South Carolina.

Physical Description

This album is in a very fragile condition. The front cover is almost completely detached, most of the pages are detached from the album’s spine, and paper is very brittle.
