Scope and Contents
The collection contains a large certificate featuring a picture of Laurence Crowley in uniform with the information of the place and date of his enlistment in World War II. The certificate depicts an eagle with wings spread and arrows and an olive branch clutched in its talons above the inset photograph. Below the photograph is a framed area where the name, place and date of enlistment as well as company, regiment and actual service dates can be written in. Only the name, and date and place of enlistment are given.

Laurence Crowley was born in 1911 in Alabama and enlisted in the United States Army in 1943. He died in 1969.
