Scrapbook containing correspondence, newspaper clippings, and other ephemera. Materials concern civil rights, including articles by Elijah Muhammad; Christian thought and worship; and articles concerning centenarians around the country and world.
Newspaper clippings contain articles about civil rights, political cartoons, centenarians, and other miscellaneous topics. Correspondence includes letters and holiday greeting cards. Ephemera includes airplane tickets, church flyers and programs, graduation programs, and funeral programs.

Biographical / Historical
Ada Belle Parker was born July 30, 1911, in Birmingham Junction, Alabama, to Sam and Ellen (Prater) Bradley. She was married to Walter Gaskins, but they divorced in 1955. Later, she married Frank B. Parker. She died on April 4, 1994.
