The collection contains the correspondence between Major Herbert J. Taylor, Jr. (Battery 13, 136th Field Artillery, American Expeditionary Forces) and his wife, Roberta Dorsey Taylor of Columbus, Ohio, from 1917 to 1920. The majority of the letters were written in 1918. There are also a few letters from Taylor to other family members and friends. The collection also contains 28 negatives.
