Scope and Contents

Two copies of a single memorandum, printed on one page, relative to "WD AGO Form No. 66-1 (Officer's and Warrant Officer's Qualification Card)." The memorandum, which was issued on behald of Bowman Field's Commandant *unnamed) constains instructions to officers regarding presentation of the card "to the Adjutant of your new station promptly on arrival," enjoining the recipients "This card will not be folded, rolled, or altered in any manner while in your custody." The memorandum bears no date, but seems to relate to World War Two.

Biographical / Historical

Zinner was a 2nd Lieutenant (presumably in the U.S. Army Air Force) and Classification Officer in the Adjutant General's Department at Bowman Field, Kentucky, which was Headquarters of the Glider Pilot Combat Training Unit.
