J. Robert Kennedy Autograph Journal
Scope and Contents
Contains one journal containing autographs and notes from a number of the classmates of J. Robert Kennedy. The author continued to annotate the status of several of the people who originally signed the book until 1885. Some of these annotations list the function and/or fate of some of those who fought in the Civil War. There is one hand-written autobiography from 1885 near the end of the journal.

Biographical / Historical
J. Robert Kennedy was born in Florence, Stuart County, Georgia in 1842. Two years later his family moved to Alabama and he later attended the University of Alabama. Later in life, Kennedy lived in Texas.
