This collection consists of a single ledger recording the financial transactions of the firm of Belser and Harris, 1846-50. The two principals were James E. Belser and Nathan Harris, whose practice appears to have encompassed the Alabama Black Belt. There are entries relating to Pike, Barbour, and Montgomery Counties.
