This collection consists of two oversized accounting volumes covering the years 1880-1885, one labeled "Ledger" and the other "Journal." The former records receipts and payments by individual or firm, the latter by date.
Incorporated as the Alabama and Mississippi Rivers Railroad Company in 1850; the name was changed to the Selma and Meridian Railroad in 1864.
