The collection contains material concerning the 1976 rededication of Woods Hall on the University of Alabama campus, which was originally constructed in the late 1860s. The principal component of the collection consists of letters to alumni who lived in this University of Alabama dormitory and their replies, including incidents relating to and memories of the building, 1899-1940. It also contains copies of the illustrated booklet, "Woods Hall 1868-1976."
