A miscellany of materials relating to the Tennessee Coal, Iron, and Railway Company's Fairfield Steelworks, later a part of the United States Steel Company's industrial empire. These include a copy of an employees dressing card, for treatment of injuries by physician (1921); a "Plan of Fairfield Steelworks, Tennessee Coal, Iron & R.R. Co, Birmingham, Alabama" (1931); "Specifications for a Tar Distillation and Naphthalene Refining Plant for Tennessee Iron and Coal Division, United States Steel Company, Fairfield, Alabama" (1952); and a copy of the "Agreement between Tennessee Iron and Coal Division, United States Steel Corp. and the United Steelworkers of America" (1962).
