Scope and Contents
This collection consists of entries taken from Nolley's “Album of Friendship,” copies of outgoings letter to her brother, Edward Dromgoole Nolly and sister Martha Ann Otey, extracts from her theme book, and a letter from a friend, Annie Glascock (?). Except for last, all are from the period when Nolley was a student at Tuscaloosa Female College. The items are annotated with information about her family and Nolley herself. The items by Nolley contain news about the school and school entertainments, school faculty, Tuscaloosa, and her family.

Born November 11, 1845, Baldwin County, Alabama. Attended Tuscaloosa Female College, 1862-1865. Married Thomas Jewett Goree June 25, 1868 at Huntsville, Texas. Died Huntsville, Texas in 1929.
