This collection consists of receipts and statements primarily for Ann Foster of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, but it also includes Robert Selvidge Foster’s will and a deed for 1,274 acres of land from the heirs of Robert S. Foster to Edmond L. Prince in 1859 for the sum of $19,110.00. The document lists the heirs as “Ann Foster, James M. Foster, George W. Foster, Louisa F. Gates formerly Louisa F. Foster, and Cornelia Foster in their own proper persons, and John Y. Foster, C.R. Gates, William L. Foster and Wade Foster by their attorney in fact James M. Foster.”
