Personal Correspondence - Incoming, Martha Babcock
Scope and Contents
This collection consists principally of personal correspondence from Francis Bugbee's family and close friends concerning family and personal news. The genealogical papers are extremely complete for the Bugbee family and many other Massachusetts and Connecticut families who married into the Bugbee family including the Pitcher, Hubbard, Woodward, Perkins, Bushnell, Metcalf, Lothrop, Royce, and Arnold and Hargrove families, along with the Long and Tarrant families of Virginia. There is very little business correspondence or any information concerning his years as trustee, judge, or legislator.
