Scope and Contents
One photographic album of 356 black-and-white photographs following the daily life and travels of amateur photographer Ella Wilcox in Colorado and Mexico during the early to mid-1900s. The photographs in Colorado are scenes of teaching at a local school and scenic shots of Ironton, Telluride, Rocky Ford, and Cheyenne Mount among others. Photographs taken during travels through Mexico highlight market and street scenes in Mérida in Yucatán, Mayan ruins, and Mexico City among others.
