Scope and Contents

One photographic album of 88 photographs depicting daily life and scenery of various cities throughout Mexico and California during the late 18th century. The photographs were taken by multiple persons at various times, some are captioned. Some of the scenes shown are of busy streets and markets in Zacatecas, water carriers in Guanajuato, Mexico City street scenes, El Paso in Texas and Los Angeles, California.
