Scope and Contents
The Agency and Department Files series contains correspondence, memos, and other materials regarding the activities of named agencies and specific departments within the United States government. Agencies and departments include Agriculture, Education, Federal Aviation Agency (FAA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Justice Department, NASA, Post Office, Treasury Department, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Health and Welfare, Labor, Public Works, Parks and Forests, Trade, Indian Affairs, Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO), Military, and others. These files may overlap with the Constituent Services Materials and Legislative Records series.
