Biographical / Historical

According to an introductory note at the front of a program for their 1954 production of Rosalie, the Municipal Theater Under-The-Stars was a chartered, civic, nonprofit organization whose purpose was to bring summer musicals to Atlanta's Chastain Ampitheater for the lowest possible admission prices.
