Letter from Mother to Daughter, undated
Scope and Contents
Letter from a mother to her daughter, updating her on family news. She mentions that the sister of an old friend was visiting in the area. She had been sick with fever and had three teeth pulled. In the night she began to bled where the teeth had been and as they could not stop the bleeding, she bled to death. The back page of the letter is in a different hand-writing, probably a sister to the recipient of the letter as she says "Ma says I had better fill this up..." She also states that she is planning to go to a social later that week.
