General

Letter from F. A. Davis who is panning for gold in Josephine, Oregon, to his brother and sister. Davis mentions that he is ground sluicing - and will continue to for another month or so before knowing how his claim will pay. He tells them that he had been ill two years before, but that he is much better now. He also says that he receives the war news weekly from the newspapers and that he is sending them two copies of a new photograph he had taken in Jacksonville.
