Michel Family Letters, 1939, 1939-1951
Scope and Contents
Letters to members of the Michel family from family and friends. The first letter is from Henry Middleton Michel of Augusta, Georgia, to Fraser Michel Hammond of Montgomery, Alabama, requesting a portrait of Hammond's grandfather. The other letters are to Fred G. Hammond of Montgomery, Alabama. The first is from Mrs. George Barrett of Augusta, Georgia, commenting on the death of Marion S. Michel, and the second is from Tobe of New Orleans, Louisiana, asking about a room for rent. There is also a handwritten biography of Dr. Richard Fraser Michel (1827-1907).
