Typewritten letter from "ME" to Carl on Oak Farm Cotton and Tobacco, Elm City, North Carolina letterhead. The writer is in obvious distress and possibly in a mental instutition or hospital and describes their anguish after learning Carl didn't call or come as promised. The writer also implies that they will not live much longer and wishes Carl would call "and help me that much."
