One was from the alumni association of Simpson College, Indianola, Iowa, informing her of an upcoming fraternity and sorority reunion, while the second letter is from Lula to her sister Mary "Liz" Applegate, at prep school in Albuquerque, New Mexico, mostly discussing some inherited real estate and their future living situation.
