Scope and Contents

Letters to and from Harry F. and Ruth S. Coffman of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mansfield, Illinois, while he was the assistant medical examiner for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. Ruth was living in Mansfield while he traveled for the B & O (based in Cleveland), and their letters cover details of their daily activities and other family news. There are a few letters from family and friends as well as newspaper clippings, Christmas cards, wedding and graduation announcements.
