Betty Magruber Greaver Letters - Legal Documents and Newspaper Clippings, ,1898-191960, 1898-1968
Scope and Contents
Letters to and from Betty Magruder Greaver of Jeffersonville, Indiana, from James Greaver and others. The bulk of the letters were written while James Greaver was deployed overseas in the United States Navy during the Korean War. The letters discuss news of daily life and follow James and Betty through their approximately ten year courtship until their marriage in 1959 or 1960. The collection also includes legal documents from the late nineteenth century, presumably from ancestors of either the Greaver or Magruder families, as well as several newspaper clippings primarily relating to Mrs. Attillia Wilson (1849-1926).
