Letter from Ella Bowman, a student at Milwaukee College, to her parentsin Kilbourn City, Wisconsin, detailing orders she has placed with the dressmaker. The letter is not dated, but was probably written in the early 1850s as the stamp on the envelope (Washington head, 3 cent) was issued between 1851 and 1857.
