Josephine Welge Autograph Book, 1925-1939, 1999
Scope and Contents
The collection contains an autograph book from the mid-1920's that contains signatures of classmates, teachers, as well as Benny Goodman and Igor Stravinsky. Also present are an article from 1999 about Stravinsky and a clipping about the death of Rabbi Mordecai Schiff.

Biographical / Historical
Josephine Welge was born in 1911 to William and Mary Welge in Ohio. She attended the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in the mid 1920's.
