Scope and Contents
Letters from Sgt. Edward Knight, stationed in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, North Africa, Italy and France to friend Lacey Ennis of Fitzgerald, Georgia. Discusses camp life, native life, army censorship, weather, travels in Europe. Two letters are on American Red Cross letterhead; one is on Fort Belvoir, Virginia letterhead. Includes four photos, three of Knight, depicting Army life in Europe during World War Two.
