Scope and Contents
Includes oversize illustration of the C.S.S. "Alabama" and a maps of its voyage inlcuding a list of the ships captured or sunk from 1862 to 1864; folio of the sheet music "Com: J.A. Winslow's Victory March" (a.k.a. "The Last of the Alabama"); three prints of sketches by W.S. Stephenson of the Confederate Raider "Alabama" (1862-1864), U.S.S. Alabama (built 1896), and U.S.S. Alabama (commissioned 1942); and enlarged photocopies of an article in the Cape Town (South Africa) "Argus" about the confederate steamer "Alabama" in Table Bay, and the capture of a federal ship within sight of Cape Town (1863)
