Description on back: No. 1306 - 22 Apr. 44 - Typical Outcrop of Porcellanite. The material is siliceous and is of Upper Cretaceous age. The flomation is about 40 to 60 ft thick in the Darwin Area. Subsequently, a Quarry was opened at the site shown in this photograph. Photo - Lt. Col. W. B. Jones, C. E. 1/50 F 22.
