This sketchbook contains nineteen sketches which depict training drills, camp life, and social events held at Camp O'Neal, a training base located in Frascati Park in Mobile. The 1st Infantry Regiment of Alabama State Troops conducted drills at the park in June 1883. Sergeant J. Zelinski drew the sketches and presented the collection to C. S. Tyler.
