Series Description

From the Series: The Student Works series contains projects that his students completed in his oral history classes. Of the nine projects,eight relate to race issues in some way. Several of the projects concern Autherine Lucy and integration, and two are about the 1933 lynchings in Tuscaloosa following the murder of Vaudine Maddox. The remaining project is about student protests at The University of Alabama in 1970.

Use of these student projects is restricted.
