Series Description
The Research Files series contains materials, most of which retain Clark's original file names, that document the process of integration at The University of Alabama, as well as materials relating to race relations in and around Tuscaloosa. Materials relating to the 1933 murder of Vaudine Maddox and the subsequent lynching of the men arrested for her murder include newspaper articles, interviews, and court records.
