From the Collection:
A collection of 124 personal letters, cards, and telegrams to Miss Ann Hollis of Headland, Henry County, Alabama. These contain communications from her numerous wartime pen pals, which included soldiers in various training schools and war zones, and schoolmates from Montreat College (Montreat, North Carolina). Most are love letters or discuss school life and social activities.
The letters are arranged alphabetically by the author’s last name and then chronologically. Authors identified by first name only are alphabetized separately at the end of the main sequence by first name.
