This collection consists of photocopies of records compiled in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration (W.P.A.) Federal Writers' Project, District 6, Mobile, Ala., I.D. # OI49-5073. These are concerned with historically significant individuals, geographical areas, monuments, parks, buildings, ceremonies, forts, squares, social customs, theatres, folklore, and art. Each section has bibliography listing interviews or publications.
