This collection contains a copy of a newspaper article from the March 12, 1899, issue of the "Charleston News," discussing the Revolutionary War roll call of Matthew Singleton's volunteer company. Article from the "South Carolina Historical and Genealogical Magazine" (v.1 no.3, July 1900) discussing the same roll call for Singleton's company. There is also a photocopy of roll sign up sheet dated 26 August 1775.
