It includes a photocopied autobiographical letter, eulogies, history as the founder of the Alabama Historical Society, and personal reminiscences. This subseries also contains documents, arranged chronologically, that range from March 10, 1822 to January 4, 1838. It includes his ordination paper and his license to perform marriages.
