Daughter of Jonathan Allen Liston, Mary Todd Liston came with her sister Margaretta Liston Kirksey to Greene County, Alabama to live with her aunt and uncle (Eliza A. and Dr. Thompson W. Taylor). She died in Eutaw, Alabama cut off from the rest of her family by the Civil War. Consists of her outgoing and incoming personal correspondence. On the film series X & XI are reversed.
