The collection contains a print of a photograph of a highly detailed - and "sea-worthy" - model of the C.S.S. Alabama built in Cornwall, United Kingdom, by Raymond Hunt in July 1999. He inscribed the photo with "Best wishes to all at The Alabama University from Raymond Hunt." His handwritten caption under the picture reads "The C.S.S. Alabama off the Cornish Coast 14 July 1999" and "Built by Raymond Hunt."
