Scope and Contents This collection contains a letter from Samuel R. Curtis to his brother in Mount Vernon, Ohio, about their property. He expresses his opinion of the Whig party, specifically President John Tyler. In the letter, Curtis, also a member of the Whig party, writes that he has become disheartened by the actions of President Tyler.
