Bill and Doris Leapard Collection of Nelle Harper Lee Materials
The collection consists of two notecards from Nelle Harper Lee, the book John Singer Sargent by Carter Ratcliff, and a pair of Airoldi earrings in the shape of leopard heads with the original Brighton jewelry bag in which they were sent. The materials were gifts to the Leapards from Nelle Harper Lee.
Cleophus Thomas Jr. Collection
Cleophus (Cleo) Thomas Jr. is an Alabama attorney and was the first African American president of the Student Government Association at The University of Alabama. The collection contains letters sent to Thomas by noted authors and artists, materials related to special events on The University of Alabama campus, and a map and photographs presented to politician Nicholas Katzenbach.

Ralph Hammond Papers
Ralph Hammond was the author of numerous books, press secretary to Alabama governor James ("Big Jim") Folsom, and poet laureate of Alabama from 1992 to 1995. This collection contains clippings, correspondence, legislative documents, recordings, photographs, negatives, poetry, memorabilia, and other items related to his activities, including a large number of materials about the Folsom administration and about antebellum mansions in Alabama.
