Lee Books in the Preston Library, Virginia Military Institute, and Other Repositories in Lexington, Virginia, compiled by military historian Lee A. Wallace Jr., identifies books in Lexington, Virginia, that were once part of Robert E. Lee's personal library. It notes books that Lee signed or that contain his handwritten marginalia. The manuscript is dated June 10, 1978, and was never published.
