Scope and Contents This collection consists of an invitation from Governor and Mrs. George Wallace, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Volker, and Mr. and Mrs. David Roberts, II, to attend the opening performance of the American Bicentennial Theater's production of Thornton Wilder's play, The Skin of Our Teeth, performed at the Birmingham-Jefferson County Civic Center, and to the supper following, at the Birmingham Hyatt House Hotel, June 23, 1975. A ticket for the supper accompanies the invitation.
